Our Mission
To promote and encourage peace in the individual, the community and the world. Peacetown will do this through events, classes, and community gatherings. We will aim to raise funds for the Peacetown Trust Fund to support peace projects throughout the world.
Peacetown is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation created to promote peace, educate in the ways of peace, raise funds for peaceful events, and build a community of peace activists.
Peacetown is an educational and charitable community group. The educational component of Peacetown is to instruct in the ways of attaining personal peace, inviting speakers to our events, and having regular meetings of Peacetown members to discuss peacebuilding.
Peacetown has been and will continue to provide free community concerts to our local communities to support music and the arts for the purpose of building peace. The Peacetown Summer concert series has provided free music to the town of Sebastopol, California and surrounding areas since 2013. These events are put on by the Board of Directors and supported by volunteer help. Our classes and speakers educate people on the ways of finding inner peace and the concerts bring together these individuals to create the good, the holy and the beautiful in our community and beyond.
